Creating Twitter Application
Before using Twitter Alerts, users must prepare their Twitter account as follows:

Create a Twitter account if the customer does not have one yet.
To do so, logon to http://www.Twitter.com and sign up.

Create a Twitter application if the customer does not have one setup yet.

To do so, point the web browser to http://twitter.com/apps

Enter the logon and password to see the application screen.

Click on the button ‘Create a new application‘; then enter all the required information.

Agree to the ‘Rules of the Road‘, enter the required text, then click on the button
‘Create your Twitter application‘.

Configure the Twitter application to have at least read/write permissions.
Click on the tab ‘Settings‘, and change the Application Type to ‘Read/Write‘, then click on ‘Update this Twitter application’s setting‘ to update.

Go back to tab ‘Details‘ and write down Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.

Configure TW_TWEET and test Tweet.

If everything is set up properly, users should be able to see the test Tweet on the Twitter site.
