Summary

A new Unix server was added to Argent Guardian Ultra but rules are returning an error message

Technical Background

Unix servers need to be given an username and password to properly connect using Argent Guardian Ultra

Rules will fail to execute if server is not properly defined

Resolution

  1. From Argent Global Manager
  2. Settings > License Manager
  3. Select Argent Guardian Ultra under Product

  4. Select right click on server under Licensed Server/Device
  5. Select Licensed Server/Device Properties
    1. Update logon field
    2. Update password field
