Technical Background

By using ViewMagic in Argent Commander you can view simple but powerful dashboards

Rules to build dashboard must have executed at least one and have the following option turned on

Resolution

Launch Argent Commander Website

Select ViewMagic TAB

Create New Design

Create first table by Selecting Insert Table

Left Click in box on space next to %NODE_NAME% where Green Star is

Select Properties

Update for Windows Servers

To add a new design do the following

Left Click on space where Green Star is

Select Column > Insert After

Add the following design for Location

Add the following design for Status

• Uses System Down Rule (NDE_API_CONNECT)

Add the following design for Alerts

Add the following design for CPU

• Uses Performance Rule (PRF_CPU_OVERLOAD)

Add the following design for Disk

• Uses Disk Space rule (PRF_DISK_SPACE)

Add the following design for Uptime

• Uses rule System Uptime (PRF_NEW_REBOOT)

• Use scale (0.0000115740741) to convert to Days

Add the following design for Updates

• Uses Windows Update Service Rules (WUS_PENDING_UPDATES)

Create the following table for Linux

Insert Table

Add the following design for Linux Server

Add the following design for Alias

Add the following design for Status

• Uses System Down Rules (NDE_PACKET_LATENCY)
