Summary

Azure PowerShell script failed to run with the following error:

AADSTS1002016: You are using TLS version 1.0, 1.1 and/or 3DES cipher which are deprecated to improve the security posture of Azure AD

Technical Background

From Monday, 31 January 2022 Azure must use TLS 1.2 secure protocol, not the earlier TLS 1.1.

Resolution

Ensure TLS 1.2 is correctly installed.

Customer can execute Argent-provided PowerShell scripts to check readiness.
