Telnet sessions will intermittently drop for UNIX rules.


Technical Background

UNIX Rules may encounter time-out issues, when Telnet is used as the connection method.

Resolution

  • Increase the timeout value specified in the Rule definition. (120 seconds is a good value to start with.)
