KBI 220113 Invalid Site Certificate

Version

All

Date

17 Dec 2001

Summary

A client may see an error when running a RTP with the Argent Defender indicating an Invalid Site Certificate.

This will always cause a TEST to fail.

Technical Background

A Site Certificate is simply a method of authentication employed by a web site.

Resolution

  1. Have the client log on with the credentials the Argent Defender is using.

  2. Right-click on Internet Explorer.

  3. Click on the Advanced Tab.

  4. Uncheck “Warn about invalid site certificates”

Once this box is unchecked, the warning message will no longer appear and the test will run properly.
