KBI 220113 Invalid Site Certificate
Version
All
Date
17 Dec 2001
Summary
A client may see an error when running a RTP with the Argent Defender indicating an Invalid Site Certificate.
This will always cause a TEST to fail.
Technical Background
A Site Certificate is simply a method of authentication employed by a web site.
Resolution
- Have the client log on with the credentials the Argent Defender is using.
- Right-click on Internet Explorer.
- Click on the Advanced Tab.
- Uncheck “Warn about invalid site certificates”
Once this box is unchecked, the warning message will no longer appear and the test will run properly.
