Summary

The Argent Console is capable in sending pager alerts via TAP.

An enhancement request has been submitted to provide the ability to send pager alerts via the PET protocol.

Technical Background

The Argent Console is currently capable of sending pager alerts via the Telocator Alphanumeric Protocol (TAP).

Some paging systems may utilize another protocol, known as Personal Entry Terminal (PET).

The PET protocol requires a password to be passed with the message.

Resolution

An enhancement request has been submitted to include PET support within the Argent Console.
