Summary
Argent Global Manager provides a single Web User interface for the products Argent Advanced Technology and Argent Extended Technology. It has been packed with most of the features of Argent Advanced Technology and Argent Extended Technology
Argent Global Manager provides greater accessibility and ease of use for the customers enabling them to administer and monitor their Servers/Devices virtually from anywhere without compromising security. The Argent SuperMap concept of Argent Advanced Technology touches a greater notch on offering a web interface

Consoles
Consoles aid the customer in monitoring Events in their Servers/Devices and Answering them from virtually anywhere. Consoles of all products of Argent Advanced Technology are available separately in Argent Global Manager
A node with Events can be double clicked to open the Events and can be Answered from there
Views
Global Manager View gives administrators to create mini Web interfaces of the Argent Advanced Technology and the Argent Extended Technology for their departments or sub offices. The very basic idea of ‘Views‘ is to enhance security by limiting the rights and resources available to a user
Administrators can create Views with Rules, Alerts, Monitoring Groups and Relators depending on the requirement. These Views can be then assigned to Users or User Groups. A user assigned to a View when logs in to Argent Global Manager, actually logs into the View assigned to them. They will not be able to access or even know the resources that are not assigned to them

CMDB-X
CMDB-X of Argent Advanced Technology is now incorporated in Argent Global Manager. CMDB-X is available only for Admin users and not in Views. It can be found just below the Argent Advanced Technology node in tree. New servers or devices can be added to CMDB-X, existing ones can be deleted or their properties can be set. Also, a new Network Group can be added or existing one be deleted

Rule Testing
Option to test a Rule of Argent Advanced Technology has been incorporated in Argent Global Manager. Click on any Rule under Argent Advanced Technology from tree and find the right click menu option ‘Test This XXX Rule Definition‘. A list of licensed servers and the selected Rule is displayed from which one has to select the servers against which the test has to be run
Finally the status of the test is displayed in another sub-window which is also downloadable
Relator Testing
Option to test a Relator of Argent Advanced Technology has been incorporated in Argent Global Manager. Click on any Relator under Argent Advanced Technology from tree and find the right click menu option ‘Test This Relator‘. A list of licensed servers and Rules associated with the Relator is displayed to select the servers and Rules against which the test has to be run
Finally the status of the test is displayed in another sub-window which is also downloadable
