Summary

When an OctString OID is used as variable, the option ‘Translate To Hex String Format‘ cannot be saved

Technical Background

Some OctString OID values are actually binary data

Displaying them directly will end up with unreadable or truncated text

The option ‘Translate To Hex String Format‘ works fine for text comparison, but simply not saved if the OID is used as variable
