Row Types

Independent Row

This is the basic row type — this row type represents a single node.

Enumerated Nodes from Monitoring Group

Let’s say a customer has 12 nodes to add as individual rows in a Table.

The customer could either create 12 Independent Rows manually, or create a single, special row, with the Row Type as Enumerated Nodes from Monitoring Group.

This makes creating Tables much faster and quicker.

This special Row Type takes a specified Monitoring Group, and renders all nodes (alphabetically) when the Table is displayed.

In Edit Mode, the row will always remain as a single row.

Nodes can be excluded by clicking on the Exclude Nodes field.

Enumerated Instances of Node

Let’s say a customer wants a Table that shows all disk drives on their File Server, which has 10 disk drives.

The customer could either create 10 Independent Rows manually, or create a single, special row, with the Row Type as Enumerated Instances of Node.

This makes creating large tables much faster and quicker.

This special Row Type takes a specified Node, Product and Metric, and renders all instances of the Metric for that Node (alphabetically) when the Table is displayed.

In Edit Mode, the row will always remain as a single row.

Instances can be excluded by typing in a comma-delimited list of instances in the Exclude Instances field.
