Summary

Addressed the issue in Argent Job Scheduler that the Status of Dependency Job does not change after the Job is cancelled

Technical Background

Argent Job Scheduler has an option to cancel the Dependency Jobs

But, even after the Job is cancelled, the Job Status still displays in ‘Dependency‘ state

However the Log file shows the details correctly

This issue has been addressed by changing the Status of Job to ‘Cancelled‘ when a Dependency Job is cancelled

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent Job Scheduler 10.0A-1405-A or above
