Summary

Operator is unable to purge Events from the Argent Console on client GUI installation.

Technical Background

This issue was observed on a fresh installation of the Argent Extended Technology on the server and fresh install of the Argent Extended Technology client GUI.

Events can be purged successfully on the server, however using the client GUI, the Events are not purged.

Also, attempts to purge the Argent Console from the client workstation command line using AAC_PURGE.EXE do NOT purge events in the console.

No errors, warnings, or other messages are produced.

Resolution

A workaround is to purge the Events using the Argent Console on the server.

This issue has been corrected in 0801 production release.
