Summary

Chrome or Chromium shares the same Windows configuration for proxy settings.

Argent Sentinel bundles Chromium version 76 as its default browser. It has been confirmed that it does NOT work if Proxy Configuration PAC script is used.

It is also confirmed that the issue has been addressed in Chrome/Chromium version 87.

In order to use Chrome/Chromium browser other than the bundled version, user should edit registry

HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Argent\ARGENT_SENTINEL\USE_CHROME_PATH to the new browser path. For example,

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” for typical Chrome installation.
