KBI 312181 Slow Web Browser Displaying Over 1,000 Nodes
Version
Argent Omega 2.2A-2404-A and later
Date
Friday, 14 June 2024
Summary
The CMDB-X browser display can become sluggish when there are over 1,000 nodes, because the browser tries to hold all node information in memory. When memory usage skyrockets, browser performance deteriorates and becomes unstable.
The new Page Mode feature has been implemented to handle this situation. Use WUI setting to configure the page size.
Technical Background
When Page Mode is enabled, only information of nodes on current page is held in memory. This improves browser performance greatly.
Resolution
Upgrade to Argent Omega 2.2A-2404-A or later
