Summary

When running Argent Omega WUI on a server with no internet access, users will find charts not working

The areas on the report that should show chart or graph would be simply blank.

Affected modules include Enterprise View, Dashboard, Problem Preventor, Event Console etc.

Technical Background

Argent Omega WUI uses Google Chart library to generate various charts of Line, Area, Gauge, etc. Google Chart library requires HTTPS access to www.gstatic.com to download chart loader JavaScript. There is no way around this without breaking the usage license.

Argent is investigating alternative chart libraries

Resolution

Running Argent Omega WUI from workstation that does have Internet Access.
