Summary

You must install the SNMP service before installing the Argent Guardian.

If you have already installed the Argent Guardian, but did not install the SNMP service you will need to install the SNMP service and then use the Argent Setup to upgrade the Argent Guardian (this retains your original settings.)

Ensure Install The Argent Guardian SNMP Interface To Send SNMP Traps selected on the Service startup Information screen during the setup.

If this selection is grayed out the SNMP Service is not running and may not have been properly installed or rebooted after installation.
