Technical Background

SNMP V3 setting for some newer version of network devices only allows SHA-256 and AES256 as Authentication Protocol and Encryption Algorithm

For example, Fortinet Firewall (model FG-401E) and Checkpoint Firewall (model CP6600)

Upgrade to Argent Advanced Technology 5.1A-2207-A or above

For customer who cannot upgrade immediately to latest version, he can use SNMP V1, or V2 for the time being to monitor it.
