Argent Queue Engine terminates prematurely after upgrading OS to Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.6 (Ootpa)

Technical Background

After upgraded the OS from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6, Argent Queue Engine randomly fails to execute some Jobs.

Argent Queue Engine has randomly failed to execute Jobs on server. This issue happens due to the failure in user validating API’s.

Now the issue has been addressed by changing the user validating API to thread safe.

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent Queue Engine 5.0A-2206 or above for Red Hat.
