Summary

SNMP device can send a batch of trap messages of related condition

For example, INCA device can send a link down trap for each offline channel

If the device is unplugged, it can fire hundreds of traps, one for each subscribed channel

It becomes unpractical firing Email Alert for each trap

Argent AT 3.1A-1407-A is enhanced to allow firing Event with combined message in detail

The available options include following:

• Fire Individual Events – Fire one Event for each matching trap
• Combine Events With Latest Description – Fire one Event including all the matching traps, showing only the last trap message but all the trap times
• Combine Events With Full Description – Fire one Event including all the matching traps

  List the trap messages in the detail

• Use System Default – Use the default option which is defined in Supervising Engine settings
