Summary
The CMDB-X Node specific location, contact information and time zone settings are defined as Node properties
It can become time consuming in adding new server/devices and maintaining such properties when dealing with a large network with more than 300 Nodes
By defining contact and time zone information in Location Definitions, and using location related information for Node, the process can be very much simplified
To do so, customer can change contact and time zone settings for selected one or multiple Nodes and use the CMDB-X Node property dialog box
To define location related contact and time zone information, use Location Definitions dialog box
When adding a new server/device, customer can optionally specify the location and link Node contact and time zone information to the location
