Summary

An issue has been addressed that Argent for SQL Server failed to execute Average Fragmentation In Percent Rules when the database compatibility set to ‘SQL Server 2000 (80)’

Technical Background

SQL Server Management Object (SMO) throws an exception when running Average Fragmentation In Percent Rules when the database compatibility set to ‘SQL Server 2000 (80)’

Average Fragmentation Rule internally uses a SQL query and some SQL built in functions used in the query were not supported in SQL Server 2000 database compatibility mode

This issue is addressed by correcting the SQL query to support all compatibility levels

Upgrade to Argent Advanced Technology 3.1A-1507-T3 or later
