Summary

An issue has been addressed that Argent for SQL Server failed to execute SQL Job Rule against SQL Server 2005

Technical Background

The SQL Job Rule sends false Alert while executing against SQL Server 2005

The Alert states that ‘SQL Server SMO exception occurred: Execute with results failed for Database ‘master’

Type DATE is not a defined system type’

SQL Job Rule uses an SQL query to get the Job details of target server and one SQL function used in the query was not supported in SQL Server version 2005

This issue is resolved by enhancing the SQL query that is compatible with all SQL Server versions

Upgrade to Argent Advanced Technology 3.1A-1510-A or later
