Summary

Windows Service Rule can be configured to save service up/down status as SLA data in Argent Predictor

However, the down status is not saved when target server is offline even with option ‘Failed Rule If Error Happens When Accessing Remote Service Control Manager (SCM)’ is checked

The issue has been addressed in Argent AT 3.1A-1601-T3

Technical Background

The issue is caused by a coding error that did not handle the condition for SLA data

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent AT 3.1A-1601-T3 or later
