KBI 311790 Issue Addressed: Common Registry SSH_SUPPORTED_ENCRYPTION_ALGORITHM And SSH_SUPPORTED_MAC_ALGORITHM Are Not Replicated Among Motors

Version

Argent Advanced Technology 5.1A-1907-A and below

Date

Thursday, 19 December 2019

Summary

Argent AT common registry keys are stored under HKLM\Software\Argent\COMMON

They are shared for all installed Argent AT products

In an Argent Non-Stop Monitor environment, when a common registry value is edited on one Motor, the value is propagated to the other Motors

However, this is not the case if the registry type is String

The affected entries include SSH_SUPPORTED_ENCRYPTION_ALGORITHM and SSH_SUPPORTED_MAC_ALGORITHM

Note: The mechanism works if the registry value type is DWORD
