Summary

The new JavaScript-based graphs will work in any mobile browser, and no longer requires Flash

There are a slew of benefits with the new graphs, including:

• Increased performance
• Support for ‘irregular time intervals‘ – this means data that does not follow a regular pattern will be scaled proportionately on the graph, so customers can easily identify missing data points without losing the ‘trend’ of the line
• Improved dynamic calculation of date/time labels in the x-Axis
• Unlimited zooming – zoom into a zoomed region, etc
• After zooming, customers can pan backwards and forwards along the timeline by holding SHIFT and dragging

Technical Background

The new graphs will work on any browser from IE8 or above, and all versions of Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome
