Summary
Some customers have reported cases where PDFs cannot be generated
During the PDF generation, the following error message appears:
“Could not render the header html area. Could not render the url. Could not get image from url.The URL is not accessible. Status code 0xF14. The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request…
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request.”
Technical Background
This issue arises from an error that occurs when calling the report generator ASP page from Argent Reports
In this case, the issue is caused by lower-case characters in node names the CMDB-X of Argent AT (an issue intermittently reproduced in Argent AT 3.1A-1307-A only)
Argent AT 3.1A-1308-A and above addresses the issue on the Argent AT side, while Argent Reports 3.0A-1310-B and above bullet-proofs and addresses this issue
If the “Description” section in the error message differs from the above screenshot, then the reason could be related to:
- Security/Rights Policies
- .NET version or settings

Upgrade to Argent Reports 3.0A-1310-B or above
