Summary

The attribute RAISE_EVENT=”No” for XML Alert Request files do not raise events to the Argent Console tables (intended), but also do not fire the Alert (not intended)

Technical Background

The RAISE_EVENT=”NO” feature was intended as a method of triggering an Alert without raising an event — this is a useful feature for third-party applications leveraging off Argent’s alerting capabilities — customers did not want their custom applications to flood the Argent Console tables and the A1A Events and Alerts screen.

This is a coding error.

Upgrade to Argent AT 3.1A-1307 or above
