Summary
Argent Advanced Technology has been enhanced by adding new rule category “TempDB” in Argent for SQL Server
Example 1:
‘Free Space in tempdb‘ counter contains the amount of free space in tempDB. Rule FREE_SPACE_IN_TEMPDB_SQL2005_ACCEPTABLE_OPERATION is broken if the amount of free space in tempDB is less than 150
Example 2:
‘Free Space in tempdb‘ counter contains the amount of free space in tempDB. Rule FREE_SPACE_IN_TEMPDB_SQL2005_AT_LIMIT is broken if the amount of free space in tempDB is less than 90
Example 3:
‘Data Size In tempdb Rules‘ calculate the percentage of data size in tempDB. Rule TempDB_SIZE_SQL2005_ACCEPTABLE_OPERATION is broken if percentage of data size in tempDB is less than 30%
