KBI 310498 Issue Addressed: iSeries Status Rule Does Not Work When Checking Job Queue Length

Version

Argent Advanced Technology 3.1A-1304-L and earlier versions

Date

Tuesday, 21 May 2013

Summary

When wildcard is used for Queue name in iSeries Status Rule checking the Queue length, the wildcard does not match any returned queues

Technical Background

AT Engine expects the wildcard to match the full name of Job Queue in the format of LIB/QUEUE. When wildcard is only specified to match the queue name, no queue will match

AT 3.1A-1307 is enhanced to handle both cases. If separator ‘ / ‘ is found, it is used to match the full name; if not found, it is used to match the subsystem name only

Resolution

Upgrade To 3.1A-1307 or later
