Summary

Argent Commander’s default (and minimum) SQL command timeout changed from 15 seconds to 120 seconds

Technical Background

The SQL command timeout controls how long Argent Commander waits for a SQL query execution before declaring a timeout.

The SQL command timeout is controlled in the XML folder, under ARGSOFT_INTERNAL_SETTINGS.XML, as the XML node ‘SQL_COMMAND_TIMEOUT’

Argent Commander 1507-G or later will automatically check if this value is less than 120 seconds, and will change it to 120 seconds.

If the value is higher than 120 seconds, it will remain unchanged.
