KBI 311208 Issue Addressed: Event Is Not Resolved Automatically Due to SQL Insert Error When Rule Console Comment Is More Than 128 Characters

Summary

Argent AT Event may not be resolved automatically when the Console Comment of the broken Rule has more than 128 characters

The issue has been addressed in Argent AT 3.1A-1501-T9

Technical Background

Argent AT relies on escalation sequence to resolve Events automatically

Due to the SQL insertion error, escalation record cannot be generated

As a result, the Event cannot be resolved even Argent AT Engine correctly finds the Rule is no longer broken

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent AT 3.1A-1501-T9 or later

For customer who cannot upgrade immediately, he can manually modify the column ‘CONSOLE_COMMENT’ in SQL table ‘ARGSOFT_AAC_ESCALATION’ to type ‘nvarchar(256)’
