Summary

Argent AT was using integral hour offset to schedule CMDB-X Nodes in time zones different from the Supervising Engine

As a result, some time zones that use time offset not an integral hours from UTC/GMT could not be handled properly


The issue has been addressed in Argent AT 3.1A-1501-T8

Technical Background

The Time Zone internal data structure in Argent AT kept only the hour time offset

As a result, the minute part was discarded for time zones such as UTC+5:30 (New Delhi)

The issue is the same for all Time Zone options:

  • Fixed Hours
  • Dynamic Read From Server
  • Use Trusted Agent
  • Use Supervising Engine

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent AT 3.1A-1501-T8 or later
