Summary

Argent AT Daughter Engine may keep recycling and run no Monitor task

Service log shows following lines repeatedly:

The issue is caused by slow SQL backend

It takes longer than 5 minutes to import some big SQL table

When it happens, the Service Mother Process sees it as a potential issue and restarts the Daughter Process

After Daughter Process restarts, it may happen again because of the slow SQL backend

Argent AT service may shut down due to too many restarts

The issue has been addressed in Argent AT 3.1A-1501-T8

Technical Background

Argent AT 3.1A-1501-T8 has been enhanced to periodically set a checkpoint Event while importing Master Control Information

As a result, the Service Mother Process is notified about the progress and will not restart the Daughter Process

Upgrade to Argent AT 3.1A-1501-T8 or later
