Summary

When running a Compliance Report to report over a long period, such as one week or longer, the report can fail with SQL Query timeout error. A common case is reporting on logon activity

A typical Domain Controller can generate more than a million rows of security log entries per day.

The default timeout for Argent Reporter is 120 seconds. When SQL Query takes longer than that to complete, a timeout error happens.

Argent Reporter 2.2A-2404-B has been enhanced to allow user specifying a custom timeout value.
