Summary

A Customer wants to control the sending of emails about corrected issues to only those people who received the initial alerts about the issue.

Technical Background

By default, Argent is configured to send condition-corrected alerts to all recipients listed in the “If Rule is No Longer Broken, Then” section of the Relator. (i.e. NOT to those recipients who actually received an alerting email.)

Resolution

If you wish to change this, edit the following registry setting to inform recipients who were initially alerted to an issue that the condition has been corrected.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Argent\ArgentManagementConsole\ArgentAlertConsole

Set the DWORD value named SEND_CORRECT_NOTIFY_TO_ESCALATED_ONLY, changing the value from the default of 1 to 0.
