Argent for Compliance may appear to be “stuck” during pre-requisites checking

Technical Background

The Argent for Compliance setup code discovers existing Domain Controllers by checking Active Directory during the installation.

If the customer’s network is very distributed and has a lot of Domain Controllers, the operation may take a long time to complete.

Resolution

This is normal behavior.

As an example of duration, allow up to 15 minutes to discover 80+ Domain Controllers.
