Technical Background

ABORTED

Job did not end successfully due to the exit code, or it was cancelled by user while it was executing.

CANCELLED

Job was cancelled by user before it was started.

DEPENDENCY

Job is waiting on one or more Job Dependencies, ODBC Dependencies, or File Dependencies.

ENDED

Job ended successfully.

FAILED

Job ended unsuccessfully due to the exit code.

FAILED TO START

Job did not start due to an issue. It could be that the queue is closed.
HELD

Job has been placed on hold manually, or the option to submit on hold is being used.

JOB SEQUENCE WAIT

Job was loaded via a Job Sequence Macro and is waiting on another job in the Job Sequence Macro to end.

OVER LIMIT

During a grace period of 30 days, jobs exceeding the license’s monthly limit will be executed but will be show a status of OVER LIMIT (instead of READY) until they are submitted to a Queue Engine.

Please contact your Account Manager immediately.

PENDING

Job is ready to run, and it should move to running state shortly.

If stays in PENDING, the queue may be stopped

READY

Job is waiting on its start time parameter to be met.

RUNNING

Job is being processed.

SUBMITTED

Job has been sent to Argent Queue Engine for processing.
