Summary

System File Rules in Argent Guardian Ultra failed to resolve the Regular Expression syntax in Path Name field

Technical Background

System File Rules can be used to monitor the existence of file

Rule has the facility to use Regular Expression Syntax in Path Name field, so it will pick up all files that matches the given Regular Expression

It is possible to use pipe symbol | in Regular Expression to combine clauses (think OR)

There was a coding issue in the implementation of pipe symbol I and it has been addressed

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent Advanced Technology 2201-A or above
