Summary

ARGSOFT_GRANT_SCM_ACCESS.exe is the utility to grant remote access of Service Control Manager (SCM) and individual Windows service.

It is useful when Argent AT service account is not a local administrator of target machine. See Also: KBI 310557 for detail.

ARGSOFT_GRANT_SCM_ACCESS.exe used to grant access for only one Windows service each time.

It is inconvenient when administrator has to handle many services.

For example, administrator needs to grant access for all services.

The utility has been enhanced to allow wildcards in service name argument.
