Summary

System Command Rule can test exit code and output of CLI process. However sometimes the user might require more complicated logic. Following are some examples:

1. Rule is broken if output contains some strings but no other strings
2. Rule is broken if output matches some complex pattern that requires regular expression.
3. Rule needs some logic to parse output to get some metrics to save to Argent Forecaster.

Ability to use custom PowerShell Script is extremely useful for these complicated cases.

System Command Rule has built-in PowerShell properties and methods to access process exit code and output.
