Summary

System CPU usage can be very high when Argent Omega Generator monitors a significant amount of servers, or runs resource intensive monitoring tasks, such as archiving compliance data, running Web Session Rules etc. Because of that, the system could become unresponsive interactively.

It is recommended that a production system should have at least 8 cores and 16GB memory.

Argent Omega 2.2A-2310-A enables processor affinity so that there is always one core reserved for other tasks. By doing this, administrator can always login interactively to manage system.
