KBI 312155 Move Argent Omega Installation to A Different Drive

Summary
Customer might need to move Argent Omega installation to a different drive for reasons like current drive is too small. Instead of re-install Argent Omega, Argent Omega CLI can help to accomplish this task fairly easy.
Customer should take following steps:
- Write down Argent Omega Administrative Protection Password. It is available on the Argent Omega Generator screen. The default value is “ArgentOmega”.
- Backup current Argent Omega control information. This can be done by selecting Backup from context menu of ‘Administration’. It should not be used but backing up is always a good practice in case of unexpected.
- Run Argent Omega CLI to move installation to new drive.
- Give it two or three minutes to allow service restarts.
- Point browser to Argent Omega and make sure the migration is successful.
The CLI command is as follows:
ArgentOmegaCLI.exe /move_path /path:xxxx /Argent_Password:xxxx
Note:
- Path can be something like D:\Argent.
- Argent Password is the Administrative Protection Password.
- Argent Password is case insensitive and white spaces are ignored.
Examples:
ArgentOmegaCLI.exe /move_path /path:D:\Argent /Argent_Password:ArgentOmega
By running this command, Argent Omega installation will be moved new path D:\Argent.
