Summary
When method of ‘Windows Service‘ is used to Detect Installed Application, if exact matching is used for Service Name, not installed application is reported as installed
Technical Background
The issue is a coding error and addressed in Argent AT 3.1A-1401-T8
Resolution
Upgrade to Argent Advanced Technology 3.1A-1401-T8 or later
For customer who cannot upgrade immediately, he can manually edit the Service Name using wildcard
For example, the Service Name ‘TEST‘ can be specified as ‘TES*‘ or ‘TES?‘
