Summary

An issue has been addressed in Argent for Active Directory that it failed to connect to an Active Directory Domain Controller using a trusted domain logon credentials with the following error:

Error Description = Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password

Technical Background

A trust is a relationship, which you establish between domains that makes it possible for users in one domain to be authenticated by a domain controller in the other domain

There are situations to monitor a Domain Controller by providing the credentials of trusted domain users

Argent for Active Directory throws Logon Failure error while it uses trusted domain user credentials

There was a coding error and has been addressed
