An issue has been addressed in Argent Sentry Ultra that it failed to monitor redirected web sites Argent Sentry Ultra fires exception while monitoring redirected web sites and logs following entries in Monitor Engine log:

Technical Background

URL redirection, also called URL forwarding, is a World Wide Web technique for making a web page available under more than one URL address

When a web browser attempts to open a URL that has been redirected, a page with a different URL is opened

Argent Sentry Ultra throws ‘302’ error while trying to connect to a redirected web site

This is because automatic redirection was not implemented in Argent Sentry Ultra

This issue has been addressed by handling automatic redirection

Upgrade to Argent Advanced Technology 1601-T18 or later
