KBI 311666 Issue Addressed: Argent Alert Executor Could Not Fire Email Alert Using Email Recipient Macro

Summary
If an Email Alert uses Email Recipient Macro in its ‘To’ and/or ‘CC’ field, Argent Alert Executor would fail to send email message
The error message similar to following can be seen in service log:
Invalid email macro &RM_SYS_ADMINS_EMAIL is used in email address ‘&RM_SYS_ADMINS_EMAIL’ found for alert EMAIL_SYS_ADMIN_EMAIL_RESOLVED
The issue has been addressed in Argent AT 5.1A-1807-A
Technical Background
The issue is caused by coding error
Argent Alert Executor generally does not have a copy of Argent Console database
As a result, the Engine won’t be able to expand the Email Recipient Macro
To address it, Argent Console Main Engine expands the macro before forwarding alert request to Alert Executor

Upgrade to Argent AT 5.1A-1807-A or above
