Technical Background

As Argent for Oracle requires OCI libraries to connect to Oracle database, this library should be present in the machine where Argent for Oracle is planning to be installed.

The OCI library gets installed along with Oracle Server/Client. As a prerequisite, the existence of OCI library will be checked at the time of installation and a warning message will be shown on the setup screen. Argent recommends installing Oracle Client to get this library before proceeding installation
