Summary

If a customer defines the delta value of a SNMP OID as a variable, then uses the variable in a formula, the formula calculation will be incorrectly based on the original SNMP OID metric instead of the delta value.

A typical example is to calculate in/out bandwidth usage in bits

The SNMP interface provides the usage in octet units. Customers need to multiply the octets by 8 to get the bit value
