Summary

Customer is running Argent AT in Non-Stop Motor Architecture, WITHOUT any Trusted Agent Deployed, however, there is System Event posted on the Console with the following message

“Trusted agent is found offline”

Technical Background

System Event is controlled by options under Supervising Engine Manager, it is under

Control Information > Administration > Engine Manager > Supervising Engine

In Argent Defender, it is under

Control Information > Administration > Engine Manager > Argent Defender

There are four check boxes to enable/ disable System Events, as following print screen

So… why does the Argent Console alert a Trusted Agent is offline when there is no Trusted Agent deployed?

“Trusted agent is found offline” is a mislabeled message for the event record inside “ARGSOFT_AAC_CONSOLE” Table. The message is meant to be “Motor is found offline”. Customer may want to investigate further the root cause of a Motor went offline.

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent AT 3.1A-1307 or above
