Argent Main Engine goes to 100% CPU and stays at 100% CPU

Technical Background

Examine the Argent Guardian service log, called ARGENT_GUARDIAN_ULTRA_SVC_LOG_timestamp.TXT

Log will show a loop, similar to the following that is for 100 milliseconds:

This loop is caused by two different issues

The main cause of this issue is a coding error in the logging code, this is corrected in 3.1A 1401-A and later

The second issue is a bad DAT file from an Argent Daughter Engine, this issue is still outstanding

Resolution

Upgrade to Argent Guardian Ultra 1401-A or above
